Salary Details:
£35,000 to £40,000 plus bonus DOE

About The Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated manager to lead, motivate and mentor a team of IT Desktop Engineers to deliver a reliable, consistent service across the entire business. You will be involved in the day to day management of the team as well as participating in company wide project work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of Desktop Engineers ensuring they provide a first-class IT service
  • Developing best practice processes into a successful team
  • Deliver on key projects that will help the business provide an improved service for our colleagues
  • Manage and co-ordinate entire office desk plans
  • Oversee the ordering of new equipment for all departments
  • Be involved in the prototype process of new equipment
  • Roll out new showroom equipment plans nationwide
  • Ensure customer service excellence by monitoring tickets on our ITSM system and reviewing customer feedback
  • Effectively respond to cross departmental issues
  • Perform periodic reviews and evaluation of the team, managing necessary performance issues and training requirements as necessary

About You
Desired skills and knowledge:
  • Minimum 3 years management experience with a team of 10+
  • Accredited or trained in ISO 27001
  • Fully competent in both Windows and Mac systems
  • Expert user in full Microsoft Suite
  • Ambitious with a strong drive to succeed
  • Ability to work independently whilst being time efficient
  • Proactive and resourceful with exemplary attitude to all aspects of the role
  • Experience working in a team orientated, collaborative environment
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
  • Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Take responsibility and ownership for all Hardware assets
