About The Role
We are now looking to grow our Apprenticeship Team with the addition of an Apprenticeships Administrator!
 
This role is key to support and manage the coordination of Wren Apprentices across the business and ensuring all paperwork and documentation is correct and in accordance with relevant legislation. You will also be involved in developing relationships with local and national education partners such as schools, colleges and universities along with taking the lead on creating events for students.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • Manage and complete administration tasks for the Apprenticeships team
  • Ensure all paperwork is correct in accordance with legislation and is stored in the relevant folders
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external training providers to ensure all paperwork is completed for each Apprentice
  • Liaise with the Internal Recruitment team to ensure Apprentice vacancies are being recruited for, and reporting vacancy progress to the Apprenticeships Manager
  • Arrange monthly meetings with Training Providers for the management team
  • Identify new Training Providers and arrange meetings for current and new Apprenticeship Schemes
  • Report any issues with Training Providers to Apprenticeships Manager
  • Arrange progress meetings with all Wren Apprentices and report on progress of each apprenticeship, ensuring apprenticeships are on track to be successfully completed
  • Alongside the Apprenticeships Manager, ensure all Line Managers of Apprentices know their responsibilities and are supporting the Apprentice with their apprenticeship
  • Manage Wren’s DAS account, and update Apprenticeship reports accordingly
  • Create and manage forecast reports based on Levy Spend within the DAS
  • Manage and develop our relationships with schools, colleges, and universities, both locally and nationally
  • Take the lead on arranging events for students, liaising with the relevant internal stakeholders and external parties
  • Identify new opportunities for Apprenticeships within Wren and work with the Apprenticeships Manager to create new apprenticeship schemes / strategies
  • Assist the Apprenticeships Manager with any administration tasks which need completing for our Employer Provider application
  • Keep up to date with any changes in Apprenticeship legislation

About You
Desired skills and knowledge:
 
  • Competent with administration tasks
  • Experience of working with or coordinating Apprentices
  • Strong knowledge of different Apprenticeships as well as previous experience using a DAS
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with creating and managing reports
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced and demanding environment
