About The Role
Critical purpose of role:
  • Maintain and develop the H&S internal standards and to control the H&S practices throughout the site
Key Responsibilities;
  • Ensure that Risk Assessments / Safe Systems of work / COSHH / MAC requirements are met
  • Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly saftey audits as well as behavioural observations
  • Ensure operational activities on site are carried out safely and legally
  • Challenging unsafe behaviours and recognising areas of improvement
  • Provide H&S management reports to agreed deadlines
  • Mentor, instruct and train where required
  • Update the SMS as required
  • Issue corrective actions and improvement notices
  • Investigate accidents through contributory factors to indetify the root cause
About You
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
  • Driving License
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Dust Mitigation
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
  • A knowledge of ISO is desired, enabling the candidate to undertake management system tasks, inline with the requirements of ISO
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Machinery knowledge (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the Polish language (advantageous)
  • Experience with Silica Dust (advantageous)
