About The Role

What does a typical day involve?

You will be managing a team of drivers who are driving our brand new 26” straight frame Peterbilt 220 to deliver fully assembled kitchen cabinets to the homes of our valued customers. The role is typically Monday to Friday and it is expected the person will be flexible to meet operational demands.

We will provide you with the latest state of the art equipment, company uniform, generous paid holiday days, healthcare plan, pension. All our vehicles are equipped with toll tags, Satnavs and latest accident prevention systems.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • DOT compliance management & legal compliance
  • Promote a H&S Culture and ensure everyone is adhering to company policies and training
  • Ensure delivery plans / schedules are adhered to
  • Administrative duties as set out by your line manager such as payroll, dealing with customer queries etc.
  • Liaising with warehouse colleagues to ensure the safe loading and timely despatch of vehicles
  • Contribute to the development of strategic goals for the department and promote the Wren brand
About You

Who are we looking for?

  • Knowledge of DOT (Department Of Transportation) regulations
  • Transportation experience dealing with legal, regulatory and operational issues, including customer service, logistics and carrier operations
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing front-line employees
