About The Role
You’ll be working towards a Level 2 or 3 Finance Assistant Accountant apprenticeship, that will enable you to build the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to become a highly effective Finance Assistant. You’ll be surrounded by a friendly, highly-experienced team who will support you

Main Responsibilities:
 
The role is a rotational placement within each area of the Finance function (Management Accounts, Operations, Accounts Payable, Data & Systems and Treasury) during the course of the apprenticeship, obtaining a broad knowledge of each area and how they are interact and a inter-dependant.  Whilst also gaining of understanding of how Finance interacts with all areas of the business. The role will set the individual up for a future career in Finance while also starting they journey towards a professional qualification.
 
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You
Desired skills and knowledge:
 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • English and Maths GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
  • An ambition to progress to a Professional Qualification
  • A passion for numbers and a a logical approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to self-manage including effective time/ diary management
  • Hands on positive attitude
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships
