About The Role
Key Responsibilities;
  • To investigate incidents through contributory factors to identify the route cause.
  • To investigate near misses through contributory factors to identify the route cause.
  • Ensure all spraying and key sweeping operatives are face fit tested.
  • Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture.
  • Conduct daily, weekly & monthly Safety audits & behavioural observations.
  • To assess the Supervisors daily & weekly audits, to highlight failures, mentor; and  Issue corrective actions and improvement notices where applicable.
  • Ensuring operational activities on site are carried out safely and legally.
  • Challenging unsafe behaviours and recognising areas of improvement.
  • To provide H&S and production reports to Management to agreed deadlines.
  • Mentor, instruct and train where required.
  • Ensuring the first aider training is upto date and the matrix is current (arrange training if required).
  • Ensuring the fire marshal training is upto date and the matrix is current (arrange training if required)
About You
Must Have Skills & Knowledge;
  • Spoken Polish & English language is a pre-requisite of this position
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety standards and compliance.
  • Strong computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of accident investigation.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Factory experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills
Desired Skills & Knowledge;
  • Knowledge of isocyanate testing.
  • IOSH qualification or working towards.
  • Machinery Knowledge (would be an advantage).
