About The Role

This role is based on-site at our Head Office in Barton-Upon-Humber, DN18.
 
The IT Operations team are an instrumental part of the IT department. The team ensures the smooth operations of the Software Development department by supporting with onboarding, performance management and time & attendance. We enact positive change by supporting the internal training scheme and through the introduction of the progression plan. This is an incredibly rewarding job that sees you create strong relationships with people across the department through supporting individuals and management.

Main Responsibilities:

 
  • Administration tasks to support the day-to-day running of the IT department
  • Manage & report on the department rota, such as time and attendance
  • Report on HR processes across the department
  • Support with employee performance reports
  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding journey for all new Wren IT employees
  • Manage the leaver interview process
  • Coordinating IT events such as innovation days, guest speaker events, recruitment events & much more
 
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You

Essential Skills and Knowledge:
 
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages in particular Excel
  • A keen eye for detail 
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • The ability to work with key stakeholders at all levels from across the business
  • Experience in producing and maintaining performance related dashboards
 
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
 
  • Experience in previous events coordination roles would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of IT Development lifecycle
