About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of our
bespoke kitchen planning platform. The role requires an individual who is adept at balancing product strategy with
execution and is capable of managing complex projects that deliver innovative IT solutions to our clients.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Define the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring the platform reflects
    both market needs and the company's strategic direction.
  • Manage a dedicated team of business analysts, overseeing the analysis and documentation of complex business
    requirements and processes.
  • Prioritise and maintain the product backlog, incorporating feedback and input from stakeholders to inform
    decision-making on product features and enhancements.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, from planning and development to launch and ongoing support, adhering to
    project timelines and delivering against agreed milestones.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, sales, marketing, and customer support, to
    ensure product goals are met.
  • Play a key role in driving product innovation, exploring new ideas and technology trends that can enhance the
    platform's performance and user experience.
  • Lead the project delivery efforts, ensuring that the solutions developed by the team are delivered on time and
    to the highest quality.
  • Engage in hands-on project management to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure continuous
    communication across all levels of the team and business.
  • Facilitate the refinement of processes and the adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and product
    quality.
  • Provide transparent reporting on project status, resource allocation, and risk management to stakeholders and
    senior leadership.
  • Encourage an organisational culture that supports team autonomy and empowers the team to achieve its full
    potential.
  • Communicate project progress and deliverables to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Identify training needs for the internal team and coordinate relevant training sessions.
  • Continuously monitor the development/progression plans for all of the team member
  • Provide monthly workshops for our Retail Team
  • Host regular feedback session with all business areas
  • Undertake several showroom visits throughout the year capturing feedback.

About You

Required Skills & Qualifications:
 
  • Significant experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within the IT sector, with a focus on bespoke
    platform development.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams of business analysts in a
    project-driven environment.
  • Proven ability in delivering complex IT projects with a clear understanding of project management principles.
  • The ability to effectively translate stakeholder vision into actionable development plans and product features.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of influencing and building strong
    relationships at all organisational levels.
  • An aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to tackle challenges and look for innovative
    solutions.
  • Experience in strategic product planning and execution, with the capacity to understand and implement
    customer-centric strategies.
  • A solid grasp of user experience (UX) design principles and technology trends, applying them to product
    development for competitive advantage.


Desirable:
 
Previous hands-on experience with the technical stack relevant to the bespoke IT platform.
Certification in Agile methodologies, although a broad understanding of various project management approaches is
valued.
