About The Role

We are looking for professional Kitchen Installers or Shopfitters for our brand new Showroom Remedial Team! This is a brand new team, which will include experienced Kitchen Fitters to support our remedial projects for our 106 Showrooms across the UK!
 
The basic salary is £35,750 plus a quarterly bonus of up to £1,000, meaning you can earn up to £39,750 annually.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
  • The role will cover a variety of basic carpentry duties including, assembly, dismantling and installation of kitchen components and appliances
  • Replacing existing kitchen frontals, decor ends, accessories including handles, plinths and profiles that have been discontinued or require replacements
  • Installation of tek walls and surrounding support for kitchen displays
  • Carry out final adjustments and ensure the displays are of showroom standard
  • Working field based covering showrooms across the UK that have dedicated remedial projects
  • All jobs will be assigned from the office with full support from the office team
  • Working from a fully automated system with calendar and job details
  • Maintain company provided van and tools to required standard
  • In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You

Desired Skills and Knowledge:
 
  • Prior experience in the handyman/handywoman or multi-trade industry is key to being a successful candidate
  • Understanding and implementation of furniture assembly, DIY Carpentry, minor plumbing and flooring
  • Experience with hardware and power tools
  • Ability to resolve problems and adhere to health and safety guidelines  
  • Being resourceful and self-motivated  
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to travel with flexible working hours  
  • Transport and tools will be provided
  • CSCS card not required
