About The Role

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking IT Business Change Manager to lead our team of Business Analysts (BAs) and Project Managers (PMs) through a variety of IT projects. The successful candidate will be a driving force in implementing business change practices and process enhancements within the IT landscape of our company.
 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead the planning and delivery of business change programmes, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Champion the adoption of process improvements and change management practices within IT projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with all IT teams to facilitate the design and implementation of cross-functional projects, ensuring that change is managed in a controlled and efficient manner
  • Provide thought leadership in the development of change management strategies, including the assessment of impacts and the planning of organisational change interventions
  • Oversee the development of project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach project teams in agile and other project management methodologies, business process redesign, and change management techniques
  • Develop and deliver training and communications that support change initiatives to ensure smooth adoption and minimise resistance
  • Regularly review and report on the progress of change implementation, providing updates to senior management and key stakeholders

About You

Essential Skills & Knowledge:
 
  • Extensive experience in an IT business change management role with a successful track record in leading IT projects and process improvements
  • Demonstrable leadership qualities with the ability to manage cross-disciplinary teams effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Expertise in change management principles, methodologies, and tools with practical experience in applying this knowledge to IT projects
  • Excellent ability to analyse complex project issues, identify risks, and implement effective resolutions
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop the capabilities of BAs and PMs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for persuading and influencing a broad spectrum of stakeholders
  • Robust project management skills with proficiency in various project management software and techniques
  • Adept at creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and articulate reporting
  • We value relevant professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, and especially those with an Agile focus, including CSM, PSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, SAFe certifications, AgilePM, CAL, or other equivalent Agile certifications that demonstrate a commitment to Agile practices and principles in project and change management
  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is advantageous
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence
