About The Role

Join us in a pivotal role as the IT Purchasing/Procurement Manager, where you'll be at the forefront of driving the acquisition of cutting-edge IT equipment and solutions, directly shaping our operational efficiency. Your leadership will guide our purchasing team, prioritize urgent requests, and ensure seamless procurement processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Way: Spearhead the IT procurement process, aligning it with our organisational needs while keeping a sharp eye on cost-effectiveness.
  • Forge Partnerships: Cultivate and leverage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating optimal terms to meet our requirements.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with IT asset managers to anticipate and fulfil technology needs ahead of time.
  • Prioritize with Precision: Ensure swift fulfilment of new service requests, especially critical ones, to uphold operational excellence.
  • Empower Your Team: Mentor and develop our purchasing team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous growth.
  • Drive Quality and Efficiency: Scrutinise supplier proposals to ensure value, quality, and timely delivery, while refining purchasing policies for enhanced productivity.
  • Stay on Top: Maintain comprehensive IT purchasing records for inventory and budget management, analysing procurement metrics to drive improvements and savings.
  • Ensure Compliance: Manage procurement compliance with licensing, budget, and company policies, ensuring judicious allocation of resources.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with procurement and supply chain management software.
  • Organisational Pro: Excellent organisational skills, able to oversee multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Communicator Extraordinaire: Effective communication skills, adept at nurturing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Relevant professional certifications from CIPS or equivalent are advantageous.
