About The Role
What can you expect?
The IT Procurement & Asset Coordinator position will be a fast-paced role with the main responsibilities being the purchasing of IT equipment for the business whilst managing the assets and the inventory. Working alongside the IT Project Coordinator, you will aid the delivery of equipment our showrooms and projects across the UK whilst managing and resolving all hardware and software requests as they occur, liaising with 3rd parties and other departments where necessary. The IT Procurement & Asset Coordinator will also collate purchasing and spend information via reports, completing purchasing requests with the agreed business timescales, reporting this spend data to management when required.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Using the IT Ticket System for requests and communication
  • Purchasing IT Equipment online and using the internal purchase system
  • Ensuring purchase authorization with other departments
  • Liaising with 3rd parties for quotes and purchases
  • Managing and maintaining purchasing reports and financial data
  • Taking delivery and managing the goods in process
  • Ensuring storage areas are well managed and tidy
  • Responsible for the asseting and logging of hardware and software in inventory and back office systems
  • Communicating with 3rd parties to organise the collection and delivery of IT related products
  • Responsible for ensuring the effective disposal of IT assets with the IT Project Coordinator
  • Aiding the IT Project Coordinator in tasks required for new showroom delivery including but not limited to; arranging collections and deliveries with transport
  • Admin duties
  • The role can be physically demanding due to deliveries and palletization of equipment
  • Part covering for IT Project Coordinator when on leave
About You
Who are we looking for?
  • Previous customer service experience with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Physical ability required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the business, using appropriate tools
