About The Role
We are currently recruiting for an additional Area Captain for our Facilities team based at our Barton-Upon-Humber site. The role will be on our late shift (14:30 - 23:00) paying £10.35p/h.
 
Critical purpose of role:
  • To work within a designated department in a position within the team as designated by the manager/supervisor.
  • To ensure the smooth running of the department, ensuring all daily requirements are fulfilled as efficiently as possible.
Main responsibilities:
  • Undertake all facilities tasks as per daily schedule.
  • Be fully conversant in all tasks required within Facilities department.
  • Monitor employees within the Facilities department to ensure all processes and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Monitor specific areas of the department to ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed 100%.
  • Ensure all departmental requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Report any issues to the Area Manager/ Supervisor.
  • Liaise with Area Captains, Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers across all departments to ensure a smooth daily running of the department.
  • Ensure all required administrative tasks are completed on time.
  • Ensure all daily departmental duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the department.
  • Provide training and support to colleagues as required by your Area Manager.
  • Project a positive image of Wren Kitchens and the department at all times.
  • Undertake any other Warehouse duties as reasonably requested by the manager or supervisor.
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role.
  • Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge in order to effectively perform the role.
