About The Role
We are looking for a Security Officer to join our Howden Security Team. This position is full time Monday to Friday, 21:00 to 06:00
 
Main responsibilities:
 
  • Lock and unlock both premises
  • Book all vehicles, visitors and contractors on/off both sites, preventing unauthorised access
  • Escalating and reporting issues as they arise to mangement in line with site policies and procedures
  • Carry out hi-visibility patrols on both sites
  • Answering the phone and E-mail system in a professional and polite manner
  • Operating all security equipment in accordance with current guidelines, including CCTV systems, traffic barriers and Wren Kitchens/E-buyers internal security system. Check daily footage and update spreadsheets.
  • Carry out computer based administrative duties, using Microsoft Suite programs such as Excel
  • Produce, where required, identification cards and access passes for staff and contractors
  • SIA, First Aid and Fire Marshal training are desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • Produce reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or unusual occurrences
