About The Role
Due to the continued growth of the business, we are delighted to announce that we are recruiting 7.5t Drivers for our Bristol depot. Drivers will have the opportunity to work for a Multiple Award Winning Transport Department and as well as competitive pay rates and impressive bonus incentives ,we are dedicated and passionate about growing and developing our staff and offer progression opportunities within the business

As a 7.5t Driver, you will work any 5 out of 7 days, Monday to Sunday with a guaranteed 48 hours per week contract. The hourly rate will be £11.00 per hour plus a graded bonus of up to £750 per quarter. You'll also receive 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays off.
 
Main responsibilities:
 
  • Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities
  • Adhere to stated policies and procedures regarding delivery service and safety at the workplace
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your transport office team
  • Always offer a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each delivery visit
  • Take full responsibility of operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner
  • Ensure that Van Delivery Porters proactively makes customer phone calls with ETA’s, and keeps records of deliveries
  • Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free
  • Work as part of a two-person delivery team to ensure all deliveries are of high standard
  • Ensure fleet compliance and health and safety standards are adhered to and continuously improved
  • Adhere to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
About You
Mandatory:

  • Hold a valid C1 license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Holds an up to date Driver CPC Qualification
  • Holds an up to date Digital Tachograph Card
Desired:

  • Experience in the ‘Home Delivery’ service
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
