About The Role
To complement our huge expansion plans for 2021 and onwards, we are looking to recruit Business Analysts in to the Wren family at our state-of-the-art Head Office facility. Wren is a fast paced, innovative company built on people who drive the business forwards. This allows roles like our Business Analyst to work on exciting projects with our internal and third-party IT development teams. Our Business Analysts will work with many stakeholders and across varied departments.

At Wren, we don't just make kitchens, we make the software that designs them too! We’ve built, maintained and developed the system in house. This means that we have full control over any changes and developments needed to be made. When we say it is industry leading, it really is! 

Our largest development team work on the Kitchen Planner focusing on making the design process faster, easier and even more engaging. We also develop our in-house Virtual Reality software which is used in specially designed VR design rooms within our showrooms. We are looking for a highly motivated, driven and creative Business Analysts with a proven track record of delivering projects.

Main responsibiities:
  • Use Agile and Waterfall principles to capture the requirements and gain a deep understanding of what the business needs
  • Assessing the impact of change requests on projects and identifying the risks and benefits from their implementation
  • Presenting strategy, process and product features to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Working within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure deliverables meet specified requirements
  • Support Business Analysts in all manner of project activities
  • Work with the IT test team to ensure that the requirements deliverables are understood and can be quality assured
  • Defining, scoping and planning solutions to improve the business
  • Create appropriate documentation that will facilitate the development process
  • Analysing business benefits and values pre and post project delivery

About You
Desired skills and knowledge:
  • A commercial background with experience working on projects
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • An excellent understanding of all Microsoft Applications
  • Knowledge of working in an Agile methodology environment is advantageous
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to self-prioritise
  • Have an eye for detail and will be someone who continually strives for improvement
  • An excellent understanding of all Microsoft applications
  • Flexible approach to working hours and practice
  • Experience of retail environments and processes
  • Degree level educated in a relevant discipline
