The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems on production equipment and facilities machinery. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient operation of our automated manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and support equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components including motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, conveyors, and robotics

  • Interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations

  • Assist with machine upgrades, modifications, and equipment installations

  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve recurring issues

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause analysis

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • May be required to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

About You

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

Preferred:

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley)

  • Familiarity with CNC machinery and robotic automation

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification

  • Experience with lean manufacturing practices and TPM
