Main Responsibilities:

  • Home delivery of kitchens (physically demanding role)
  • Working efficiently as a 2-man crew, Loading and unloading of the vehicle
  • Ensure Van Delivery Porters proactively make customer phone calls with ETA’s and record deliveries
  • Adhering to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and faults reported to your Transport Office team

About You

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Hold a valid Cat C license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Hold an up-to-date Driver CPC Qualification
  • Hold an up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
 
  • Experience in ‘Home Delivery’ service
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Customer Service skills
  • Competent with Maths and English

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
