About The Role

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused UI/UX Designer to join the Wren App & My Account team.

Based in the App Team but reporting to the Digital Design arm of our Marketing department, this role will be central to enhancing our digital platforms by designing intuitive, elegant, and effective user interfaces that improve customer journeys and support business performance.

Working closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders, you will help deliver engaging features and frictionless experiences across the Wren App and My Account portals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prototype user interfaces and experiences for mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications
  • Conduct and analyse user research, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions
  • Translate business and customer requirements into wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers/Owners, Developers, CRM and Marketing
  • Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure visual and functional consistency
  • Present and communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback, testing, and performance analytics
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.

About You

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe XD or similar
  • Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and responsive design
  • Experience designing for mobile apps (native iOS/Android) and web interfaces
  • Strong communication skills and ability to justify design choices with evidence
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams

    Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in ecommerce, home improvement, or consumer apps
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and agile development environments
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Hotjar) and accessibility standards
