About The Role

This is a great opportunity for a mid-level engineer who wants to build their career in a large, fast-paced, and technically diverse enterprise environment. You will be working across a global network estate spanning the UK and US, supporting business-critical services and helping deliver improvements across a wide range of network technologies.

We are looking for someone with solid networking fundamentals, a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, and the drive to keep learning. This role would suit an engineer who already has a good grounding in networking and is ready to take the next step in a role that offers both operational exposure and project work.

Main responsibilities:

Supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across UK and US operations
Troubleshooting network incidents and carrying out root cause analysis
Configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure
Supporting Cisco SD-WAN environments
Managing and troubleshooting Cisco and Meraki wireless networks
Monitoring network health, performance, and availability using SolarWinds or similar tools
Using Cisco DNA Center for network management and visibility
Supporting Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments, including OSPF and BGP
Supporting Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) firewalls
Working with Zscaler ZIA and ZPA solutions
Contributing to project delivery, documentation, and continuous improvement
Working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to maintain reliable and secure services
Participating in an on-call support rota
