About The Role

We are recruiting for an Website Content Editor to join our growing Digital Marketing team based at our head office in Barton-upon-Humber 3 days and the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week. As a Website Content Editor, you’ll manage and update website content across our digital platforms, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, consistent, and aligned with customer and business needs. You’ll work closely with marketing and development teams, using our CMS to publish content efficiently while developing your understanding of digital content structure and workflows.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage, update, and maintain structured website content in Contentful and other internal systems
  • Coordinate with the Marketing department to ensure time-sensitive content updates are executed accurately and on schedule
  • Assist with content QA by checking formatting, accessibility, references, and rendering in staging environments
  •  Maintain consistent and brand-aligned content layouts across page templates
  • Monitor and document internal workflows for content management, working toward greater automation and consistency
  • Support digital and content operations across teams including marketing, and development
  • Maintain records of content updates and content structure improvements (version control, naming, tagging)
You must comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and responsibilities outlined within the Integrated Management System

About You

  • CMS/Headless CMS experience (Contentful preferred)
  • Ability to interpret Figma designs and create structured content
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and content QA skills
  • Basic HTML/CSS and understanding of digital content structure
  • Familiarity with Jira, Teams, SharePoint and digital asset tools
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and keen to develop technical skills
  • Understanding of SEO, accessibility, content modelling and reusable components
  • Experience with Markdown/rich text, publishing workflows and version control
  • Agile and high-fidelity design/wireframe experience
  • Retail experience or understanding of retail processes desirable
