We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to help develop and maintain
Wrenʼs data lake, transformation processes, and integrations. You will work as part of the
Data Engineering team to build robust, scalable data pipelines while ensuring data quality,
performance, and reliability. This role requires strong hands-on experience in cloud-based
data platforms and a passion for developing efficient and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and cloud-native tools.
- Implement data validation frameworks, automated testing, and monitoring using tools like
Datadog or CloudWatch.
- Work closely with Business Intelligence, analytics teams, and business users to
understand data needs and deliver reliable solutions.

Maintain and improve the data lakeʼs performance, security, and cost-efficiency in
platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
- Ensure proper monitoring, alerting, and logging are in place to maintain uptime and data
availability.
- Maintain clear documentation of data flows, transformations, and best practices.
Contribute to knowledge-sharing and mentoring junior engineers.
- Follow industry standards for data governance, security, and CI/CD automation in data
pipelines.
- Stay up to date with new tools and techniques in data engineering, contributing ideas to
improve processes and system efficiency.
